After featuring in more than 20 games, he has struggled to even get 10 goals for the campaign. His season has been hit hard with a couple of niggling injuries, while manager Louis Van Gaal also appears to have lost faith in him. Considering that it will take an astonishing £ 43 million to make the move permanent, it is widely suggested that United will pass the opportunity to sign the 29-year-old on a permanent basis.
Radamel Falcao has been one of major disappointments this season. Manchester United decided to pay the extravagant wage demands of £ 350,000 per week in the hope that they were getting a player of top quality.
Rather than sign the player on a permanent basis, they brought him only on a loan deal due to concerns about his knee. The loan fee in itself was at £ 6 million with the Premier League club agreeing to pay £ 43 million more if the move was made permanent. It looks like Falcao will be allowed to leave the club at the end of his loan spell.
Radamel Falcao was signed on a season long loan deal to Manchester United and the Premier League club has the option on signing him on a permanent deal but this will depend on the player himself as he needs to prove that he is capable of playing alongside his new teammates and it will also depend on whether or not Louis van Gaal is willing to sign him permanently.
The problem with Falcao is that he has been struggling with a series of injuries that has made him unable to perform at his best.
